Abstract

The article considers the digitalization of Kazakhstan as a key factor of economic development in the conditions of modernization. The characteristic features of interpretation, the use of the concept of «digital economy» in the process of such interpretation are analyzed. The necessity of digitalization of Kazakhstan’s economy as a key factor of growth for many industries is revealed and substantiated. Based on the study of foreign experience in the field of modern digital economy, the author notes that it can be very useful for Kazakhstan, which only enters this path. The author summarizes that Kazakhstan is important not only to learn useful lessons from the experience of other countries, but also to avoid repeating their mistakes and miscalculations. The value of the research is known to be the products of the digital economy has a number of advantages: since the goods are virtual, it is possible to reduce the cost of transportation, the Internet provides almost instant delivery around the world. Also, thanks to the world information network, the speed of monetary transactions has significantly increased. On this basis, we can say that digital technologies, services and systems are extremely important for social development. They can provide growth and create new jobs in all sectors of the economy, starting with the most traditional firms to the latest high-tech productions that appear today. For example, the introduction of digital technologies in industry, and how they change the way we live; how we work and do business.
