Abstract

The problem of the interethnic conflicts within the last decades is one of the most actual. This results from the fact that conflicts of this sort are dangerous when arise between the states, and also are dangerous when occur within one country. It can result in political, social instability that eventually will affect statehood, integrity of the country. In article some aspects of the interethnic and interfaith conflicts, the emergence reasons, types and forms of such conflicts are considered. The Bosnian conflict as an example of the interethnic conflicts in the modern world is briefly analyzed. Also is considered interests, requirements and fears of the parties of the conflict and factors producing and constraining the Bosnian conflict.
