Kazakh-Japan relations: 20 years of benefi cial cooperation

Cooperation between Kazakhstan and Japan has achieved positive results in various fields for 20 years. They have experienced the terrible consequences of the use of nuclear weapons. The Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki at the very end of World War II were exposed by the American nuclear attack. As a result of it hundreds of thousands peace people instantly were interrupted. On the Azgirsky range 17 underground explosions are made. On the field of Semipalatinsk was conducted 607 test of atomic bombs for forty years. They were carried out without the appropriate measures of protection of local population from consequences of nuclear explosions. Till 1953 inhabitants of the nuclear experiments next from epicenter weren’t warned and didn’t settle out. Only since 1956 military bodies notified the population in 1 hour prior to tests.Their power has exceeded ten thousand times the power of the two U.S. bombs dropped in Japan. Millions of people in Kazakhstan have suffered greatly and Japan provided significantly in their treatment. Relations between two countries are based on mutually beneficial cooperation.
