Energy policy of Japan before and after the Fukushima disaster

At present in Japan, as in other countries, the issue of energy security is one of the main political objectives. An important place in the development of energy policy in Japan occupies the consequences of the first oil crisis in the early 1970s . Instability in the Middle East region, which is considered a major supplier of oil, has pushed to explore new areas of energy policy , to create new institutions, new laws, to improve diplomatic methods , which play a fundamental role in ensuring energy security.The energy policy in Japan that has been developing for more than thirty years, requires modification after natural and man-caused Fukushima disaster that occurred in 2011. Events for the adoption of a new energy strategy implemented by changing the country’s authorities . The fact that the new adopted strategy will undergo changes inevitably.
