This article analyses the complex interrelationships between global climate change and changes in the migration policy of the European Union. The study is based on an analysis of data on climate change and its impact on migration flows from regions highly vulnerable to climate disasters, such as Syria, Afghanistan, Somalia and Bangladesh. The paper emphasises how climate change amplifies socio-economic factors leading to internal and cross-border population movements. The study then examines the implications of these migration processes for the European Union, including the challenges to security, integration and international cooperation that they present. Аuthors then offers strategic recommendations for improving the European Union's migration policy in order to adapt it to climate challenges, including developing a new legislative framework for the protection of climate refugees and strengthening international cooperation on climate and migration. The study concludes with a discussion of effective approaches to the challenges of migrant integration, which are important for maintaining social stability in the region. The study provides valuable data and analyses that can serve as a basis for revising and improving the European Union's migration policy in the context of increasing climate change. The study also emphasises the importance of international cooperation on climate and migration, which is important for developing global solutions to the climate refugee problem.
