The different types of tests for the foreign students

Abstract

This article tells about versions of testing tasks for the groups of foreign students. In the world there is such experience to divide tests on different levels such as «remembering», «understanding», «using» and «several right answers». In the test given to a student all the four versions must be presented in equally.it gives the opportunity to evaluate the knowledge of students objectively. As well, it is told, that test is not only a tool to evaluate the knowledge of student, tests should be used for teaching. For this purpose testing tasks must be aimed not to grammatical rules, but to use different grammatical forms in one sentence. The author basing on the Russian specialist on tests V.S. Avanesov, pays much attention to the effectiveness of using several versions of tests. Referring to V.S. Avanesov the author shares that tests help to develop thinking abilities of student. It’s necessary to spread testing on the whole territory of Kazakhstan.
