Military defense area of cooperation between Russia and India

Abstract

This article focuses on military-technical cooperation between India and Russia, its role and significance in the bilateral relations between the states. In recent years, India is showing strong growth, outstripped China in 2015 on this indicator. The government of India is the economic and political center of its region, and therefore forced to pay serious attention to their weapons, to guarantee a sufficient level of safety. Such large state is in need of a large army of highly skilled and better weapons; because of it, India is investing huge amounts of money to achieve them by developing cooperation in this field with many countries, including Russia. For many years, Military defense area of cooperation played a key role in the bilateral relations between Russia and India.
