Abstract

The paper analyzed the question of the formation and development of European Security and Defence Policy in the context of contemporary trends in security threats. The aim of the European Union in crisis management – confl ict prevention, peace and strengthening international security. And a common policy on security and defense of the Union aims to ensure the ability to prompt action to use for this purpose, both civilian and military means of Members.
