Pan-Turkism and the Peculiarities of Cooperation between Modern Turkic Countries

It is currently known that the Turkic countries located in the Eurasian space have developed their relations and raised them to the level of strategic partnership. The transformation of the Turkic Council into the Organization of Turkic States in 2021 showed the interest of these countries in further developing cooperation between these countries. Every time the mutual cooperation of the Turkic states moves to a new stage, major powers fear the revival of the idea of «pan-Turkism». Especially Russian researchers are constantly looking for political implications from cooperation between Turkey and the Turkic states.
The article examines the emergence of the concepts «Pan-Turkism», «Turkism», «Great Turan», comprehensively analyzes the opinions of domestic and foreign authors regarding these concepts, analyzes the essence and political background of these concepts today and the author comprehensively proves from his point of view and makes there is a clear conclusion that today’s «pan-Turkism» is not a dangerous phenomenon for anyone. The achievements of mutual cooperation relations between modern Turkic countries are also noted from the point of view of the need for relationships between them.
In the research work, the author substantiates that mutual cooperation between Turkic countries does not pose a danger; on the contrary, huge achievements in the relations between these countries make a great contribution to the comprehensive development of world civilization, ensuring universal peace and security.
