Politico-economic dimension of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in the foreign political science

Despite the short period of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the organization, its development attracted the attention of politicians and public figures, political scientists, economists, international experts. For today’s geopolitical studies conducted in Kazakhstan, have a certain value assessment of foreign policy experts on the activities of the SCO. The article presents the opinions of foreign experts on the dynamics of the SCO activity for the year, ie from the summit in Bishkek (2013) before the summit in Dushanbe (2014), due to geopolitical outcome variables in the world. We consider the expansion of the SCO, energy issues, issues of national, regional and international security, etc. Some believe that the SCO – a «Eurasian NATO», others – «Eurasian OSCE», behind which is actually hidden geopolitical rivalry, characteristic of the «environment of empires», by which is meant Russia, China and Central Asia.References
