Legal regulation of certain types of countering terrorism in the national legislation of Kazakhstan through the prism of international conventions

The article focuses on the urgency of the fight against terrorism due to the fact that the scope of its public danger increases dreadfully. The article also highlights the issues of legal mechanism to counter terrorism, extremism and separatism in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The problems associated with gaps in the legislation of the Republic relating to combating terrorism, extremism and separatism are considered. This article uses the recommendations of the UN Convention relating to the issues of combating the financing of terrorism of 10 January 2000, some of which are implemented in national legislation. In the article the authors describe the essence of measures to improve the quality of the legal framework, including the development of a system of improving anti-terrorism treaty arrangements, national legislation within the elimination of existing conflicts of law in this area.
