Abstract

Contemporary international political processes in the world put the scientific community in need for deep study the issues of the war and peace, diplomacy, and relationship between nations. The United Nations based on the theory of liberalism, before and after collapse bipolar system of international showed its incapacity to solve many hot problems of the international community. Antagonistic to liberalism political realism explains political processes in the international relations by desire for power and supremacy of force. The purpose of this paper is to analyze genesis of the political realism school of thought and allocation of basic concepts of the doctrine. This paper coherently examines main ideas of the chief founders of the political realism.
