Abstract

This article is devoted to the political, social and economical problems of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the young Eastern-European state, which passed through the civil war and ethnical genocide. Currently this country is on the stage of deep political crisis and post-conflict reconstruction and development. There is an analysis of foreign and domestic policy, economic situation of the country. The article reveals the link between the hard social and economic situation and protest demonstrations of the population against the economic policy of the government. There is an analysis of the integration process of Bosnia and Herzegovina towards the European Union and the NATO. There are the examples of the solutions of the problems related the joining to the EU. There is a picture of the political rivalry of the external actors for the strengthening of the influence in the state.
