Abstract

Migration processes are an integral part of the global political and socio-economic, socio-cultural and other processes of the modern system of international relations. The scale and nature of the main trends of migration reflects the current state societies and economies, as well as security, covering most regions of the world. Post-Soviet space, with its center in Russia and partly in Kazakhstan occupies a certain niche in the global migration system. This, in turn, determines the need to develop effective approaches to the development of cooperation in the field of coordinated migration management. Positive dynamics in this context can be seen in the format of some international organizations operating in the former Soviet Union – EurAsEC Customs Union and the Eurasian Economic Union. Formation of a common labor market, the process of harmonization of national legislation and social aspects demonstrate definitely positive dynamics.
