Power cooperation between Kazakhstan and China: problems and prospects

Abstract

In article cooperation between Kazakhstan and China which entered a new phase, especially in the sphere of power and oil and gas cooperation is considered. Today high rates of economic recovery of China aren’t provided with the corresponding development of its fuel and energy complex. The country passes into category of net importers of energy carriers more and more, deficiency of energy resources grows, and ensuring requirements of a national economy with them becomes one of factors of foreign policy strategy of the state. A key link of power diplomacy of China – the stable and guaranteed ensuring needs of the country for highly effective energy resources to which oil and natural gas belong. And the oil and gas branch of Kazakhstan prodolkzhat to be in a zone of active growth, along with a sokhrakneniye of its high investment appeal. Also in article it is noted that cooperation in the sphere of power is important in development of the bilateral relations.
