The BRICS role as a factor of a new power center in the contemporary international relations system

This article makes an attempt to find out the strengthening role of the BRICS in the contemporary system of international relations. It analyzes main activities of the BRICS countries in the context of globalization issues. The main factors of BRICS influencing on the formation of more fair international system of economics and politics have been defined too. As backgrounds for increasing the consolidation of this organization can be considered within the similar models of development, intensive trade relations and similar approaches in solving the global problems, although, there are some differences in the perception of some international problems and their solutions. Both the problems existing in this organization and prospects of BRICS development have been defined.
