Problems and prospects in the politico-military dimension of the SCO: scientific and international legal analysis of some aspects of the question

In this article the authors jointly explore issues related to the detection of serious problems, not conducive to the further development of the integration model of the military and political aspects of regional security These include , above all, differences in matters of priority activities of the SCO and views on the desirability and features a number of joint projects , the complex internal contradictions among the member countries , including the full range of differences strategic interests pursued by each of the Member States, as asymmetry of members of the organization in its political and economic potential. In this respect, particularly pronounced differences between China and Russia, as major world powers , on the one hand, and the young Central Asian republics, on the other. Based on a systematic analysis of their offers some possible solutions to the issues identified in the international legal context.
