Immigration policy of Italy: current situation

Abstract

In this article the author has reviewed the immigration policy of the Italian Republic in the context of EU membership. The specificity of migratory flows to Italy. The analysis of the political situation in North Africa before, during and after the «Arab Spring», and then, as affected by the crisis in the region for immigration policies in Italy and the European Union as a whole. Also in the article, the author considers the actions of the Italian Republic at the legislative level to regulate labor migration. And tougher legislation against illegal immigrants. Based on the experience of immigration policy Italy author cites a number of recommendations for improving the migration policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
