The dynamics of migration processes in the framework of the EAEC: glance from Kazakhstan

Abstract

Eurasian integration is a strategic choice of Kazakhstan. Creating of EAEU and the formation of a common labor market is an important component of the country’s migration policy, which is being developed with the growth of labor migration, the increase in the scale of illegal migration, the issues of refugees and intensive internal migration. Kazakhstan’s context of migration processes in the framework of the EAEC is characterized by a certain system, necessitating stability, regulation and security of migration flows by coordination at various agencies’ level. Development of international migration cooperation of the Union with other actors on the response to the major challenges of globalization by the active participation of Kazakhstan could be one of the effective direction.
