By the middle of the XX century, in the Western science, there are a number of theories that emphasize the political nature of feminism, which has become a political ideology of women’s struggle for equal rights and opportunities with men. In this article, the main emphasis is placed by the author to the works of the Western scholars devoted to theoretical and methodological issues of feminism, which addresses three epistemology, commonly referred to the feminist literature such as: feminist empiricism, theoretical positions of feminists and feminist postmodernism.
