Kazakhstan’s initiative to renounce nuclear weapons

Abstract

From the middle of twentieth century as start work Semey polygon, on the Kazakh land has been tested about 500 nuclear explosions. Because of this reason residents had a lot of problems. In this article described all the aspirations and achievements of Kazakhstan’s renunciation of nuclear weapon. It was hard for Kazakhstan to achieve targets as disarmament. Nazarbaev had signed to important documents, had participated in international conferences and had pay a visit to other countries with official visit. Now, we can say proudly, that Kazakhstan one of the first states who started disarmament.
