THE MAIN DIRECTIONS OF FOREIGN POLICY OF AZERBAIJANI STATE OF SHIRVANSHAKHOV IN THE 15TH CENTURY

Abstract

The Azerbaijan state of Shirvanshahs was one of the states, having played the peculiar and active role in political, diplomatic mutual relations of the XV century. The basis of the foreign policy of this state during this period was made by the balanced policy. Despite the fact, that the state of Shirvanshahs depended on the states of Karakoyunlu and Аkkоyunlu, this dependence was of a formal character. In many cases in internal and foreign policy Shirvanshahs kept their inde-pendence.
